THE 70th anniversary of the Sixth Buddhist Council, known as Chattha Sangayana, will be celebrated at the Maha Pasana Cave, Thirimingala Kaba Aye Hill, Yangon, for three days from 30 April to 2 May. The ceremony will be broadcast live daily on MRTV Parliament Channel.
The opening ceremony will be broadcast live on MRTV HD, MRTV Parliament Channel, MWD HD, and MWD Variety. HD and its joint venture TV channels, Readers’ Channel, Sky Net Buddha Channel, Sky Net Up to Date Channel, HTV Sports Channel, SNDSY Shwe Nadi Shwe Yi Channel, starting from 7:30 am on 30 April. It will be tuned live on Myanmar Radio, Shwe FM, Padamya FM, Pansawady FM, Mandalay FM, Cherry FM, FM Bagan, Thazin FM, Star FM, and Live Streaming will also be broadcast on MRTV Website, MRTV APP and Online.
In addition, the Dhamma Thabin ceremony to be held on the evening of 30 April will be broadcast on MRTV HD Channel with a delay after the 8 pm news.
