FRONTLINE Tatmadaw personnel who carried out security operations for State stability and local peace around the Muse area in Shan State (North) were warmly welcomed back at a ceremony held at a local battalion in Mongtwan, Shan State (East), yesterday afternoon.
The event was attended by Triangle Region Command Commander Maj-Gen Soe Myat Htut, along with officials, officers, soldiers, family members, members of the Myanmar War Veterans Organization, departmental personnel and local ethnic residents.
The commander and party welcomed back the victorious Tatmadaw members with sprigs of Eugenia. The event included traditional dance and music performances. The commander also presented cash prizes and commodities to the returnees.
