Once finished, the new hospital will deliver internationally standardised treatment for patients with heart, brain, and neurological conditions. The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Construction are working together to complete the project on schedule.
Additionally, the Ministry of Health plans to implement cardiovascular risk assessment systems and treatment programmes for a population of 100,000 people through cooperation between Myanmar and Chinese medical experts at cardiac care departments in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, and Mandalay.
