A global initiative to promote cooperation in the nuclear technology industry was launched at the ongoing third International Nuclear Technology Application Conference in Beijing.
The new initiative, called the “Initiative to Jointly Build an Open, Inclusive, Universally Beneficial and Win-Win International Industrial Ecosystem for Nuclear Technology Applications,” was introduced by the China Isotope and Radiation Association. It calls on international organizations, industry groups, researchers and companies to work together for the peaceful and inclusive use of nuclear technology, and seeks to foster a new type of international cooperation based on mutual respect, fairness, justice and shared development. The initiative also aims to explore new paths for global collaboration, maintain a stable, open and safe industrial ecosystem, exchange development experiences, address common challenges, and provide innovative solutions for sustainable development and economic recovery.
