THE Myanmar Embassy in Seoul issued an announcement on 20 April stating that it has not authorized any individual or organization to act as an intermediary in embassy matters. According to the Myanmar Embassy to the Republic of Korea, it handles all consular services and general administrative affairs directly.
No person or organization has been commissioned to facilitate these processes. The embassy further clarified that it processes applications in accordance with official procedures, verifying the completeness and accuracy of the submitted documents to prevent unnecessary delays.
Consequently, the embassy officially announced that it maintains no third-party representatives for its consular or diplomatic functions. Additionally, the embassy noted that it continues to provide necessary assistance and coordination for Myanmar citizens residing in South Korea, including legal migrant workers, scholars, and those visiting for various other reasons, based on reported issues and needs.
