As the old year 2025 comes to an end and the New Year 2026 approaches, time has steadily moved forward over many years. What is special about this year is that the darkness seems to be fading, and rays of hope are beginning to appear. I believe and hope that Myanmar, which has endured and overcome various crises and hardships with resilience, will soon return to bright new days filled with blessings.
Signs of political and economic recovery are already visible. We must prepare ourselves to effectively seize and utilize the new opportunities that arise for the benefit of our families, our regions, and our nation. I deeply respect the strong spirit of the people of Myanmar, who have faced and overcome challenges together despite various circumstances. Even in the most difficult times, they did not abandon their land or their country, but continued the journey together through good and bad alike. Together with the political stability improvement in the post-election period, new opportunities for foreign investment and economic growth will also follow. Learning lessons from the past, I wish to move toward a new future of development and progress together with the younger generation.
If thoughtful leaders and resilient citizens work hand in hand in unity, it is certain that within a few decades, we will achieve golden successes and accomplishments. With patience, compassion, and mutual understanding, may each of us fulfil our responsibilities for the benefit of the country and the people. I send my heartfelt New Year wishes that our Republic of the Union of Myanmar may develop peacefully, and that everyone may share the fruits of success.
