BAY INFERENCE: Southwest monsoon has been withdrawn from the Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and the Deltaic Myanmar areas. The weather is a few clouds over the Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF 12 October 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Kayah, Rakhine and eastern Shan states, scattered in Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay Region and Chin and southern Shan states and fairly widespread in Yangon, Bago, lower Sagaing and Ayeyawady regions and Kayin, Mon and northern Shan states and widespread in the remaining regions and states. The degree of certainty is 100 per cent.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Bago, upper Sagaing, Ayeyawady and Taninthayi regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon and Rakhine states. In the area along the cumulonimbus clouds, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied by rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur, and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance of these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in the Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along the Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR THE SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of thundery activities over the Southern Myanmar areas.
