BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF 9 October 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay, Magway and lower Sagaing regions and Kayah State, scattered in Nay Pyi Taw, Bago and upper Sagaing regions and fairly widespread in Yangon and Ayeyawady regions and Kayin and Rakhine states and widespread in the remaining regions and states with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Chin and Rakhine states. THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Mandalay, upper Sagaing, Ayeyawady andTaninthayi regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine and (southern and eastern) Shan states. The area along the cumulonimbus clouds, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance of these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in the Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along the Myanmar Coasts.
