ACCORDING to the observations at 4:30 pm MST today, the ramnants of the tropical storm Wipha crossing inland area of Vietnam may reach to Myanmar and a low-pressure area may form over the North Bay of Bengal on 24 July 2025 and monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyawady and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine and Shan States with regionally and isolated heavy falls during today evening to 28 July 2025. Occasional squalls with rough to very rough seas will be experienced off and along the Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 40-45 miles per hour. Wave height will be about 10-16 feet off and along the Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
