SUCCESS in the arts should not be measured solely by the winning of awards, but also by a profound understanding and mastery of the art form and the ability to make meaningful contributions to society, said Vice-President Nan Ni Ni Aye at the ceremony to award winners in the basic education and higher education level contests of the 27th Traditional Myanmar Cultural Performing Arts Competition 2026.
The Vice-President, who serves as a patron of the Leading Committee on Organizing the Competition, said so at the awarding ceremony at the Myanmar International Convention Centre I (MICC I) in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
