YANGON City beat Chinland 2-1 at Thanlyin Thihadipa Ground on 17 October in Week 4 of the 2026-2027 Grand Royal M-League, with captain Win Naing Tun scoring both goals to secure a second consecutive victory.
The newly promoted sides met for the first time in the top flight, with Yangon City ending their winless run against Chinland in M-League II and extending their unbeaten start to four matches.
Win Naing Tun opened the scoring in 19 minutes before Van Hming Chuang equalized for Chinland just before halftime. Yangon City pressed for a winner after the break and were awarded a penalty in 81 minutes, which Win Naing Tun converted to complete his brace.
Win Naing Tun was named an AYA Pay Player of the Match and received a K1 million cash award.
Week 4 concludes on 18 October, with Hanthawady United facing Yadanabon at Bago Grand Royal Ground and Sagaing United taking on Dagon Star United at Star City Ground.
