CAMBODIA and Vietnam have vowed to boost their annual two-way trade volume to US$20 billion in the coming years, according to a press release from Cambodia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Saturday.

The announcement followed the conclusion of a two-day official visit to Cambodia by Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung. During his time in Phnom Penh, Hung held a bilateral meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet.

The two leaders agreed to strengthen cooperation across several key sectors, including culture, tourism, energy, agriculture, agro-processing, information and communications technology, and the digital economy, to enhance regional economic complementarity and shared prosperity. — Xinhua
