The Progress of Border Areas and National Races Department under the Ministry of Border Affairs has completed a project on the development of 60 acres of highland farmland in Sanpya Village, Gahong Village-tract, Lahe Township, Naga Self-Administered Zone, under the Union budget for border area development for the 2026-2027 financial year.
The highland farmland development project is expected to significantly contribute to the socioeconomic development of two villages, comprising a population of 579 from 82 households, according to reports. — MNA/KNN
