Representatives from nine Myanmar companies attended the Business Forum and Business-to-Business (B2B) business-matching programmes held as part of the 2026 ASEAN Panorama exhibition in Seoul, Republic of Korea, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The exhibition runs from 7 May to 30 September, featuring rotating exhibitions from two ASEAN member nations each month. In August 2026, pavilions from Myanmar and Thailand were showcased from 1 to 27 August. The Myanmar pavilion displayed traditional arts and handicrafts, textiles and food products manufactured by 10 Myanmar companies, along with promotional videos highlighting Myanmar tourism.
On 26 and 27 August, 16 representatives from nine of the 10 participating Myanmar companies attended the Business Forum and B2B business-matching sessions with South Korean business owners.
During the sessions, Myanmar enterprises engaged in B2B discussions and site visits with executives from South Korean companies.
Ambassador U Myo Myint Maung, Chargé d’Affaires ai of the Embassy of Myanmar in Seoul, visited the ASEAN-Korea Centre to encourage the Myanmar companies during their B2B discussions with South Korean business partners.
The Embassy of Myanmar in Seoul facilitated the platform through the business forum and B2B business-matching sessions to assist local MSMEs in entering the South Korean market, identifying export opportunities and fostering stronger trade and economic cooperation between Myanmar and the Republic of Korea.
