THE Myanmar Red Cross Society has opened a mobile clinic in Haka, Chin State, providing healthcare to 477 residents, the society said.
The Myanmar Red Cross Society launched the a healthcare programme with the support of the Norwegian Red Cross Society. The mobile clinic was set up to provide primary healthcare to residents.
The clinic operated from 24 to 28 August at Bethel Baptist Church and Emmanuel Church in Haka. During this period, 477 residents received primary healthcare, while seven patients requiring further treatment were referred to hospitals.
In addition, under the supervision of the Chin State Red Cross Supervisory Committee, Red Cross staff and volunteers provided health education to local communities. — ASH/MKKS
