UNION Minister for National Planning, Investment and Foreign Economic Relations U Aung Kyaw Hoe received a delegation led by Mr Bulochnikov Anatoly Mikhailovich, President of the Russia-Myanmar Association for Friendship and Cooperation, yesterday at Office 1 of the Ministry of National Planning, Investment and Foreign Economic Relations in Nay Pyi Taw.
The two sides openly exchanged views and discussed matters concerning the status of the Memorandum of Cooperation on Business and Investment Cooperation between Myanmar and Russia, the priority sectors and areas to be promoted to increase investment, the status of exemptions and relief measures issued by the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA), and matters related to facilitating and providing protection for investment activities.
Senior officials from the Ministry of National Planning, Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and members of the Russia-Myanmar Association for Friendship and Cooperation also attended the meeting. — MNPIFER
