A ceremony to warmly welcome back the triumphant frontline Tatmadaw members who courageously served their duties was held at the local battalion in Mudon of Mon State yesterday.
South-East Command Commander BrigGen Thura Zaw Lwin Soe, departmental officials, Myanmar Police Force members, people’s militia unit members, teachers, students and locals welcomed back returning soldiers with heartfelt enthusiasm.
Attendees greeted the returning troops – who served selflessly away from their families to safeguard national stability and the lives and property of citizens — with auspicious Eugenia sprigs and lively musical and dance performances. An official of command delivered an honorary speech expressing gratitude for their service, and presented cash rewards to the victorious soldiers.
