A ceremony to honour and welcome back Tatmadaw personnel returning from frontline duties was held at a local battalion in Palauk, Taninthayi Region, yesterday morning.
Officials from the Coastal Region Command, departmental officials, members of the Myanmar Police Force, war veterans and residents attended the ceremony.
The returning personnel were welcomed back with garlands, Eugenia twigs, traditional music and dance performances in recognition of their service in operations for State stability and regional peace.
Officials also delivered congratulatory remarks and presented cash awards to the returning Tatmadaw personnel.
