THE Myanmar Embassy to Singapore issued four guidelines on 17 July for Myanmar nationals to observe when visiting the embassy.

For the concern on the image of Myanmar nationals and under complaints lodged by neighbours, those who will visit the embassy for passport extension and consular services are urged to be aware of the following rules: do not block the entry of neighbouring residences while waiting for admission, do not make gathering, eating, littering, smoking and spitting betel nut in front of the embassy campus and the surrounding.

In addition, it has also urged not to have conversations or speak on the telephone loudly. Blocking entry, littering, smoking and spitting betel nut are also prohibited inside the embassy campus. — MT/ ZS
