The Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Myanmar Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association (MFVP) discussed the development of the fruit sector on 8 July.
The meeting highlighted UMFCCI’s support for export promotion, growth of the fruit sector development, improving the association’s performance, strengthening MSMEs engaged in the fruit sector, exploring market access for potential new fruit varieties in new markets and on digital platforms, and digital transformation in both domestic and foreign markets.
MFVP Chair U Kyaw Thu introduced the new executive members and discussed the management policies and procedures updated to meet the standards within the first 70 days of assuming office, efforts to improve members’ performance and the short-term and long-term action plan for the next three years.
The UMFCCI president encouraged and coordinated the association. MFVP also expressed gratitude to the UMFCCI for its continuous support and partnership.
