THE KBZ Foundation chair and vice-chair 1 received the National Honorary Award presented by the Myanmar National Committee on Women (MNCW).

Daw Nang Leng Kham, chair of the KBZ Foundation and patron of the Myanmar Electronic Sport Federation (MESF) and Daw Nang Kham Noung, vice-chair 1 of the KBZ Foundation and patron of MESF, were awarded on Myanmar Women’s Day, which falls on 3 July.

Daw Nang Leng Kham and Daw Nang Kham Noung are young women entrepreneurs who have led the KBZ Bank and Kanbawza family business group and are founders of KBZPay, which has more than 22 million subscribers.

They could lead women participants in the financial sector, nearly 51 per cent of the total subscribers are women, and from a major role, they have helped the facilitation of the development of women-led businesses and MSMEs by using digital payment. They could promote esports to step up to the world level and give tactical guidance to the Myanmar esports team to achieve the World Cup Champion in the 2025 Esports World Cup, and through MESF, they have encouraged more women participants in esports. They have also received many honour awards presented internally and externally for their contributions in education, health, environment and social sectors for the good of the country and the people without discrimination on race, religion and region.

Recently, the KBZ Foundation offered financial support worth K100 million to Ma Ni Ni Kyaw, who outstandingly passed the 2026 matriculation exam and received first place nationally in the Arts and Science combination stream. — MT/ZS
