The Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, Danu Self-Administered Zone, Shan State (South), conducted a field inspection to review the implementation of household income-generating activities financed through the revolving funds of the Mya Sein Yaung Village Project in Watara Village yesterday.
Danu Self-Administered Zone Department of Rural Development Head Daw Aye Aye Thein, Pindaya Township Department of Rural Development Head U Aung Kyaw, project staff, and members of the village project committee inspected the implementation of systematic smallscale farming, livestock breeding, and trading activities supported by the project funds.
They also checked whether the monthly records and accounts had been properly maintained, and afterwards, the regional director coordinated and addressed the needs raised by the village.
In Watara Village, a total of K124.9 million in revolving funds has been disbursed to 130 project members engaged in agriculture, livestock breeding, and trading as the 13th cycle of low-interest revolving loans. The funded activities are being successfully operated with support from the project funds to ensure increased household incomes.
