THREE outstanding students from Mandalay, Yangon and Bago Regions emerged as the top scorers in each combination in the 2025- 2026 matriculation examination nationwide.
The outstanding students were Ma Thiri Soe from the CAE Private High School in Chanayethazan Township, Mandalay Region, who scored the highest in the science combination, with a total of 562 marks, Ma Ni Ni Kyaw from No 14 Basic Education High School in Hlinethaya Township, Yangon Region, who scored the highest in the arts and science combination, with a total of 530 marks, and Ma Su Myat Aung from the Kyauktaga Basic Education High School in Bago Region, who scored the highest in the arts combination, with a total of 498 marks.
