The Power 9 video production family donated K700,000 to the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization on 30 May at the organization’s office in Bahan Township, Yangon, according to Vice-Chairman U Aye Kyu Lay.
The donation will support the educational assistance programmes for children of organization members, including school expenses, stationery and uniforms, as well as rice, cooking oil and salt donations for members in need.
Of the total donation, K500,000 will be used for education support programmes, while the remaining K200,000 will be allocated for food assistance, U Aye Kyu Lay said.
The annual education support donation programme for children of organization members will be held in June, while food assistance donations for members in need are scheduled to take place in July.
