The 2026 International Travel Expo, organized by the Union of Myanmar Travel Association and its affiliated associations under the directive of the Ministry of Hotels, Tourism and Culture, will be held on 13-14 June 2026 at the Sedona Hotel Yangon, said U Kyaw Bhone Naing, chairman of the association at the press conference.


The expo aims to further develop the tourism sector of Myanmar and to reintroduce the country’s unique and attractive tourist destinations not only to the domestic tourism community but also to international tourism operators.


Hotels, domestic and international airlines, travel agencies, hospitals, food and beverage businesses, tourism and hospitality schools, and tourism-related enterprises such as Myanmar handicraft and souvenir shops will have the opportunity to showcase their hotels, products, and services to the Myanmar tourism community and international tourism stakeholders, while also creating new partnerships and business opportunities.


The event will feature about 50 local travel companies and international organizations, together with tourism entrepreneurs from Malaysia, Korea, Russia, France, Spain, Slovakia, Romania, India, Indonesia and Nepal.
