THE Myanmar-China Business Matching 2026 event, organized by the Myanmar-China Investment and Trade Promotion Association (MCITP), was held on 18 May at the Shangri-La Hotel in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, the People’s Republic of China.
Myanmar entrepreneurs and Chinese entrepreneurs from Heilongjiang Province discussed how to connect and explore business opportunities for potential partnerships. The event successfully resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the purchase of 1,000 tonnes of Seintalone mangoes and 1,000 tonnes of rubber from Myanmar.
The event was addressed by MCITP Patron U Aye Win, MCITP Chairman U Kyaw Win, Deputy Director Zhang Yu, Heilongjiang Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, and Mr Sha Lian, Secretary of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce. MCITP Advisor Dr Zaw Oo presented on Myanmar-China investment and trade opportunities. Myanmar business representatives, provincial government department heads, and Chinese business entrepreneurs were present at the event.
