A ceremony to explain the progress of the Pathein industrial project and the 30 MW solar power generation project being implemented by the Ayeyawady Development Public Company Limited was held yesterday afternoon at Meeting Hall 1 of the regional government office.
At the ceremony, officials from the company gave presentations on the monthly electricity generation expected from the 30 MW solar project, its ability to connect to the national power grid, the availability of solar energy resources, the timeframe for project implementation, and the preparations being made to commence the project as quickly as possible.
The 30 MW Pathein solar-powered electricity generation plant project will begin on 26 May and is scheduled for completion on 26 May 2027. The project will initially commence with a generating capacity of 30 MW, and the capacity could later be expanded to as much as 90 MW, depending on the availability of land for project implementation. — Region IPRD/KNN
