THE Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Federation (MCEF) has launched Batch 3 of the on-the-job carpentry training course and Batch 4 of the masonry training course for the maintenance and conservation of traditional stilt houses in Inlay, southern Shan State.
Based at Yetha and Minchaung villages, the onemonth carpentry OJT course batch 3 has been ongoing as of 6 May until 5 June.
Twenty trainees per branch, totalling 60, will be admitted. The OJT course second batch was conducted from 3 March to 3 April at Nanpan, Inpawkhone and Hatpon villages.
The OJT batch 4, led by trainers who completed the training of trainers (TOT) programme, has been scheduled from 4 May to 3 June, with 20 persons per branch, and a total of 100 will be accepted. — MT/ ZS
