A total of 751 students and 102 supervisior teachers, including 96 Grade-9 students, 132 Grade-10 students, 133 Grade-11 students, 99 Grade-12 students, and 291 first- and second-year university students, who will visit student camps in PyinOoLwin, Inlay, Nay Pyi Taw, Ngwehsaung, and Chaungtha for the 2025-2026 academic year, arrived at the Central Camp (Ywataw) in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
During their arrival, Education Deputy Ministers Dr Zaw Myint and U Nay Myo Hlaing, directors-general and officials, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Education Officer, district and township education officers, camp officials, teachers, and students welcomed them with jasmine flowers and traditional dance performances. Deputy Ministers Dr Zaw Myint and U Nay Myo Hlaing, and officials then inspected the health care clinic, dining hall, and accommodation.
The students and their supervisors stayed at the Nay Pyi Taw Central Camp (Ywataw) and, in the evening, visited the Maravijaya Buddha Image to pay homage. For the 2025-2026 academic year, Grade-9 students will visit the PyinOoLwin Camp, Grade-10 students will go to the Inlay Camp, Grade-11 students to the Ngwehsaung Youth Camp, Grade-12 students to the Nay Pyi Taw Youth Camp, and first- and second-year university students to the Chaungtha Youth Camp.
