Research publications from the Yezin Agricultural University will be distributed internationally through the digital library of the Centre for Agriculture and Bioscience International (CABI).

CABI is an international organization that provides technical assistance to develop the agricultural sector and farmers’ livelihoods, and Myanmar has been a member since 1993.

CABI CEO Dr Daniel Elger and Chargé d’Affaires ad interim and Minister of the Myanmar Embassy in London U Win Zeya Tun discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Myanmar and CABI on 22 April. During the meeting, they also discussed cooperation in areas such as agricultural technology, human and animal healthcare, and expanded research collaboration.

In addition, they discussed opportunities to increase the number of Myanmar nationals attending CABI Academy courses to gain advanced agricultural technologies, to distribute research publications from Yezin Agricultural University internationally through the CABI digital library, and to strengthen links between CABI and Myanmar through subregional cooperation frameworks.
