CAMBODIA’S trade volume with its fellow ASEAN member states hit US$4.86 billion in the first quarter of 2026, a year-on-year increase of 10.5 per cent, said an official report on Wednesday.
The country exported products worth $1.6 billion to other ASEAN countries during the January-March period this year, down seven per cent year-on-year, while its total import amounted to $3.26 billion, up 22 per cent, said the report compiled by the Ministry of Commerce.
Cambodia’s trade volume with ASEAN accounted for 27.6 per cent of the kingdom’s total trade volume of $17.58 billion in the first quarter this year, the report said.
The country’s top five trading partners in ASEAN were Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia, the report added. ASEAN comprises Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Timor-Leste.
