FRONTLINE Tatmadaw members, who completed security operations in Hsihseng Township, Shan State, and Pruhso Township, Kayah State, were warmly welcomed back to their local battalions yesterday by military commanders, relevant officials, and residents.
The troops were honoured for their roles in restoring security, stability, and peace for the ethnic populations across various regions and states. The commander and his party greeted the returning members with Thabyay (sprigs of Eugenia), accompanied by traditional music and dance performances. Following the welcome, the commander presented cash awards to the service members in recognition of their successful mission.
