The Indo-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce (IMCC) and the Indian Chamber of International Business (ICIB) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on 10 April in Kolkata, India, at a ceremony attended by U Aung Aung Myo Thein, Consul-General of the Myanmar Consulate-General in Kolkata, as a special guest.
The MoU between IMCC and ICIB was signed with the aim of helping Kolkata-based business associations and entrepreneurs interested in investing in and doing business in Myanmar gain a better understanding of the country’s ease of doing business.
The MoU signing ceremony was held under the theme “Explore Business Opportunities in Myanmar”, during which participants discussed opportunities and established business connections in the healthcare, education services, food products, children’s clothing, cotton and textile, handicrafts, and hotel and tourism sectors.
