President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by former Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister of Thailand Dr Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukar, who attended the presidential inauguration ceremony, at the Presidential Guest Hall yesterday afternoon.
It was also attended by President’s Office Union Minister U Khin Maung Yi, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Tin Maung Swe and relevant officials from Thailand.
The Thai delegation expressed their honour and pleasure at being able to attend the inauguration ceremony of President U Min Aung Hlaing. They cordially discussed matters relating to strengthening government-to-government cooperation of the two countries, enhancing collaboration in border trade, investment, and defence sectors, and further expanding cooperation in ensuring stability and peace in border areas, and in combatting telecom fraud.
