VARIOUS associations, organizations and committees have issued statements expressing their pride and congratulations on the election of Senior General Min Aung Hlaing as President.
At the presidential election held on 3 April 2026, the Presidential Electoral College, comprising all representatives of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw, elected Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who had been chosen as Vice-President by the group of elected Pyithu Hluttaw representatives, as the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
Following this, congratulatory statements were released by the Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Association (Central), the Myanmar Women’s Sports Federation, the Myanmar Traditional Artists and Artisans Association, the Myanmar Muslim Business Entrepreneurs Association (MMBEA), and the Zafar Shah Dargah Custodian Committee in Yangon Region. In their statements, the organizations expressed their heartfelt pride and congratulations on his election by the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw.
They also conveyed their best wishes for him to carry out the responsibilities of advancing the interests and development of the people of Myanmar with sound physical and mental health and prosperity. Furthermore, they expressed hopes that under the leadership of the President, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar will enjoy peace, stability and greater socio-economic development.
