FARMERS, gardeners and individuals are invited to join the Local Seed Exchange Programme at the Safe Food from Safe Farm Market from 9 am to 12 noon on 4 April in Myaypadethakyun, Yangon, to showcase and share their best varieties and acquire new ones.
Locally adapted seeds are key for food sufficiency and regional climate resilience. Therefore, preservation of locally adapted seeds is crucial to long-term sustainability.
Those who have difficulties visiting the MyanSeed office and farms are invited to participate in the Seed Exchange Programme.
