- To ensure the continuous development of the agricultural sector, which is a fundamental pillar of the State’s economic growth, and to reduce production costs for farmers, a two-per- cent advance income tax levied on the importation of fertilizers will be exempted from 1 April 2026 to 30 April 2026.
- This tax exemption will apply only to fertilizers imported during the specified period for which Import Declarations (ID) are opened with the Customs Department between 1 April 2026 and 30 April 2026.
