According to a statement from the Myanmar Embassy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Myanmar nationals in the UAE and the Middle East who wish to return to their home country may contact the ticketing agents of the relevant airlines directly. The announcement further stated that those experiencing any difficulties in the process may contact the Myanmar Embassy to request assistance.

Following coordination between Myanmar Airways International (MAI) and the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority, flight operations between Yangon and Dubai resumed on 6 March. Plans are currently in place to maintain this as a scheduled service to facilitate the return of Myanmar nationals.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a call for all parties involved in the Middle East conflict to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all nations. The ministry also urged all parties to reduce hostilities and seek peaceful solutions through negotiation and dialogue.
