MAINLY organized by Turquoise Mountain Myanmar, an art exhibition of women artists will be held on International Women’s Day on 8 March, in collaboration with MULA.

The event will take place at Turquoise Mountain, located on Phoe Sein Street in Bahan Township, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, and the craft market, including 44 shops led by women, will be displayed the whole day.

Besides, artworks by nine women artists will be exhibited as well, so visitors can come to explore women’s art and craft, art shops, artistic products, clothing brands and food stalls.

Session called “Craft, Art and Women” in the Myanmar version, scheduled from 1:30 pm to 3 pm, will highlight women leadership in the art and craft industry of Myanmar and their challenges and potentials. With the Myanmar traditional harp, women artistes will entertain with Myanmar classical sounds and conclude the celebration.
