The Safe Migration under the Ministry of Labour said 120 Myanmar women migrant workers going to work in Japan under the management of authorized overseas employment agencies have been granted an Overseas Worker Identification Card and an overseas job training course.
According to the announcement on 10 February, the job training and the OWIC application are scheduled on 11 February, and the workers will need to resubmit if they are unable to do so by the scheduled time.
Agencies will need to resubmit an Excel soft copy of the list of sending workers, a copy of the passport and a copy of OWIC within a week from the departure date to the Department of Labour, dolmigrationjapan@gmail.com. MT/ZS
