7th waxing of Pyatho 1387 ME 25 December 2025
Announcement for Date and Participating Townships for Phase III of Multiparty Democratic General Election
1. The Union Election Commission announced the townships participating in the first and second phases of the Multiparty Democratic General Election. For Phase I, to be held on 28 December 2025, 102 townships were designated under Announcement 56/2025 on 20 August 2025. For Phase II, to be held on 11 January 2026, 100 townships were designated under Announcement 141/2025 on 28 October 2025.
2. The third phase of the Multiparty Democratic General Election will be held on the 8th waxing of Tabodwe 1387 ME (Sunday, 25 January 2026). A total of 63 townships will participate in this phase, as designated and announced according to the attached table, organized by Region/State.
