ACCORDING to the observations at 3:30 pm MST today, the Severe
Tropical Storm “MATMO” over the South China Sea is moving
west-northwestwards and may further intensify into Typhoon “MATMO” during the next six hours. Thereafter, it is likely to continue
to move west-northwestwards and may cross into the Guangdong
coastal areas of China on 5 October 2025.
