ACCORDING to the observations at 3:30 pm MST today, due to the strong monsoon over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, due to the unstable air condition over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, due to the low-pressure area has formed West Bangal and adjoining North Odisha coast, India, and Northwest Bay of Bengal and due to the easterly waves, rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, northern Shan States and fairly widespread to widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyawady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (southern and eastern)Shan States with regionally and isolated heavy falls in Nay Pyi Taw. Yangon, Bago, Magway, Ayeyawady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States from today evening to 27 September 2025. Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along the Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 miles per hour. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet off and along the Myanmar Coasts.

People should be aware of natural disasters such as the heavy rainfall with strong wind, thunder, lightning strikes, lightning, hail, flash floods and landslide in hilly areas and near small rivers and to make necessary preparations for inland water transport, domestic flights and irrigation dams.
