BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF 30 July 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Magway Region and Kachin and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay, Bago, Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon and southern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100 per cent.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyawady and Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Mon, Rakhine and Shan (southern and eastern) States. The area along the cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance of these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occassional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along the Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 miles per hour Wave height will be about 9-12 feet off and along the Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Strong monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
