ACCORDING to the observations at 4:30 pm MST today, due to the Low-Pressure Cell is crossing in border areas of Laos and Eastern Myanmar and a low-pressure area may form over the North Bay of Bengal on 24 July 2025 and monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyawady and Taninthayi Regions, and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine and Shan States with regionally and isolated heavy falls during tonight to 28 July 2025. Occasional squalls with very rough seas will be experienced off and along the Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 45 miles per hour. Wave height will be about 14-16 feet off and along the Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
