The combined team comprising security forces members and Myanmar Police Force members raided two houses in Swan Saw and Kaung Hmu Tone wards of Muse townships in Shan State (north) on 16 June.
During the raid at the house number Masa 400, Swan Saw ward of Muse township, they arrested 40 Chinese males, 33 Myanmar males and 10 females, who run online scams, together with 120 mobile phones, 86 computers, three Wi-Fi devices and one Crown vehicle.
At the house number Hana-8, they also arrested one Chinese national, 26 Myanmar men and 28 women, together with 16 computers, 334 mobile phones, three Wi-Fi devices, one Crown and one Toyota Land Cruiser. The investigations are being conducted against the house owners.
The arrestees: 41 Chinese nationals, 59 Myanmar men and 38 women will face legal action under the law.
