The Ministry of Labour has announced that 28 overseas employment agencies would have their licences revoked and blacklisted if they do not pay taxes by 31 May.
The Ministry of Labour informed the relevant agencies on 7 June 2024 that they must file tax reports to the relevant township revenue offices by August 2024 after sending workers abroad for the financial year 2023-2024.
Furthermore, among the agencies required to pay taxes, those that had not yet paid were notified on 9 May 2025 that they needed to pay their taxes by 31 May.
The Ministry of Labour has instructed the 28 agencies that have not yet paid their taxes to do so at the relevant township revenue offices by 31 May and to submit their reports on time. Failure to comply will result in the revocation of their overseas employment agency licences and their inclusion on the blacklist.
These 28 agencies are Aung San Moe Co Ltd, Diamond Bagan General Services Co Ltd, Fore Signal Int’l Services Co Ltd, Forerunner Myanmar Co Ltd, Global Champion Co Ltd, Htoo Aung Hlyan Co Ltd, JJA Support Co Ltd, JMK Service Co Ltd, Job Success Co Ltd, MAX Success Co Ltd, Moe More Family General Services Co Ltd, Mingalar Asia Co Ltd, Mya Yeik Hlyan Co Ltd, Gwe Kyal Wint Co Ltd and Royal Four Seas Services Co Ltd, according to the Ministry of Labour.
In addition, SMZ Co Ltd, Seven Day Ayar Lwin Co Ltd, Shwe Lwin Lwin Co Ltd, Shwe Poe Myanmar Group Co Ltd, Shwe Thiri Chan Thar Services Co Ltd, Shwe Zin Inter Co Ltd, Southern Treasure Co Ltd, Super Tip Co Ltd, Swan Aung Myin General Services Co Ltd, Thaw Tar Myint Moh Services Co Ltd, Vega & Mira Co Ltd, Ya Wai Myaing Family Co Ltd, and Yadanar Su Latt Co Ltd are also involved.
