Officials from Global World Insurance (GWI) delivered natural disaster insurance compensation to the owner of the hotel damaged by the Mandalay earthquake, which struck on 28 March. The handover took place yesterday morning at the hotel, located at the corner of 59th Street and Theikpan Road, Mahaaungmyay Township, Mandalay.

During the compensation handover ceremony, a GWI official explained the reason for the payment and presented compensation amounting to K350 million. U Aung Thaw Marn Maung, a representative from GWI, and U Moe Zaw Zaw, the hotel owner, both expressed gratitude for the prompt coordination in processing the insurance compensation.

Global World Insurance has stated that, following the Mandalay earthquake, they have been promptly reviewing and processing compensation claims from policyholders affected by the earthquake in Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay Region, Sagaing Region, and some other affected areas, starting approximately one week after the earthquake occurred.
