A slight earthquake of magnitude 4.5 Richter Scale with its epicentre inside Myanmar about 15 miles northeast of Paungpyin, latitude 24.44°N, longitude 94.96°E, depth 110 kilometres, about 44 miles northeast of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at 02 hours 31 minutes 47 seconds MST on 19 January 2025.
