ACCORDING to the observations at (17:30) hrs MST today, the low-pressure area over South Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial India Ocean still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and may further intensify during next 24 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to reach over Southwest Bay of Bengal (off Sri Lanka – Tamil Nadu Coast, India) around 11 December 2024.
